Business Awards

We at the Stonewall & District Chamber of Commerce value all of our local businesses. We hope you’ll show your appreciation by nominating your favourites.

Please ensure that your nominee is located within the following towns or their surrounding areas: Stonewall, Stony Mountain, Rosser, Warren, Woodlands, Argyle, Balmoral, Grosse Isle, Marquette and Gunton.

Nomination deadline is July 15th, 2025.

Our awards night will be held on October 25th, 2025 at the Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre. Please watch our social media and the Stonewall Teulon Tribune for ticket sales in the fall!

If you’d prefer to fill in a form the old fashioned way nomination forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Town of Stonewall Office, The RM of Rockwood Office, The RM of Rosser Office, The RM of Woodlands Office or the Stonewall Teulon Tribune.

Customer Service Award

Recognizing a business that has made an exceptional experience in customer service.

Nominee must:

Stand apart from other businesses in terms of customer care
Respond to all questions accurately and in a timely fashion
Leave a good impression on clients in terms of product knowledge, first impression buying/dining experience
Provide an environment that enables staff to demonstrate exceptional customer service

Community Spirit Award

Recognizing a business that demonstrated community spirit

Nominee must:

Significantly & positively influence the community
Have direct involvement with community events throughout the year

New Business of the Year Award

Recognizing a new business to our community

Nominee must:

Be established for 5 years or less
Demonstrate contributions to the community
Make a positive impact on the community (spirit, drive, & vision)
Commit to outstanding quality

Community Volunteer Award

Recognizing a community group that works together to make our community a better place

Nominee must:

A group of individuals that contribute to our community through volunteering

Employer of the Year Award

Recognizing our business owners

Nominee must:

Showcase how an employer consistently demonstrates outstanding commitment to its employees, community, and the workplace

Farm of the Year Award

Recognizing the agricultural significance/impact within our community

Nominee must:

Be actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the farm
Be deserving based on equal recognition of agricultural and community involvement
Encompass crop and/or livestock production

The “First Impression” Award

Recognizing the importance of making our community a pleasing place to be

Nominee must:

Highlight the property’s attractiveness and contribution to the neighborhood’s overall beauty

Business of the Year Award

Recognizing the strength and tenacity of our businesses

Nominee must:

Demonstrate contributions to the community
Make a positive impact on the community (spirit, drive, & vision)
Display continuous positive business growth
Commit to outstanding quality
