The Stonewall & District Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting and promoting our local business community through advocacy, networking and community awareness. We are committed to:
Since our incorporation in 1933, our mission has been to promote the interests of our members and foster a vibrant business environment through cultural, social, political, and economic development. We strive to help local businesses thrive by facilitating collaboration among like-minded business owners and actively engaging with the broader community.
We provide valuable networking opportunities that connect professionals, create partnerships, and drive economic development. By focusing on business growth and the overall prosperity of Stonewall and the surrounding districts, we aim to cultivate a robust and dynamic community.
The Chamber serves as a powerful promotional platform for businesses. We amplify our members' visibility through a variety of channels, including print, web, and social media. We actively seek information and updates from our members about their businesses, staff, and events, enabling us to effectively spread the word and highlight their achievements.
In addition to our promotional efforts, we host regular meetings and events designed to foster consistency, encourage growth, and provide a forum for our members to voice their needs. These gatherings create opportunities for networking, collaboration, and professional development, ensuring that our members have the resources and support necessary to thrive in our community.
We hold monthly morning meetings on the second Thursday of each month, lasting no longer than one hour. These meetings are designed to share information about the Chamber and its members and to discuss current issues face-to-face. We encourage all members to attend. Non-members interested in learning more about the Chamber are also welcome.

Our quarterly networking events provide opportunities for members to come together, exchange ideas, and get to know the broader business community. These events typically feature an independent speaker, such as a business owner, affinity partner, or educational provider, discussing their business or services. These events are exclusive to members.
Our AGM is an evening event held in April or May, providing members with a review of the past year and plans for the year ahead. It's also when our executive board is sworn in. This is a crucial event for staying informed and involved in the Chamber's activities.
Throughout the year, we organize a variety of community events to raise awareness of the Chamber and to foster community spirit. Past events have included wine, beer and spirit tastings, trivia nights, forums on regional developments, local election debates, and the annual Festival of Lights Santa Parade.
Our events committee is always planning more activities, and we welcome suggestions from the community. If you have an idea for an event that aligns with our mission, please let us know.
